"After a long illness Mrs. Azuba Butler, an aged and long time resident of Worcester, died Saturday afternoon, at her home on West Main street. She has been a member of the Worcester Baptist church for many years and when her health permitted she was a faithful attendant at the services. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frances Dingman, who has cared for her in her declining years; one son, John Dox, who resided with her, and one son residing in Mexico. The funeral services were held at her late home on Tuesday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, by her former pastor, the Rev. C. M. Jones, of Oneonta." [The Otsego Farmer & Republican (Cooperstown, NY)]
