Modjeska Ardell Neuenschwander, 82, of Anderson and formerly of Fort Wayne, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at Community Northview Care Center.

The Geneva native retired in 1992 from Mettler & Nix Agency in insurance sales after 10 years of service. She was a member of Calvary Temple in Fort Wayne, attended North Anderson Church of God and was first president of Women's Republicans in Adams County. Surviving are a son, Ronald G. of Fort Wayne; a stepson, Terry Miliczky of Fort Wayne; daughters Carol C. Wisler of Anderson and Marjorie J. Culbertson of Toledo, Ohio; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary Temple, 1400 Washington Center Road, with calling one hour before services. Calling is also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Graveside services are 3 p.m. Wednesday at MRE Cemetery, Berne. Memorials are to Calvary Temple or Africa Inter-Mennonite Mission in Elkhart.
