Ann Wayne Bush Acree, 83, widow of Raymond C. Acree, died Friday, August 8, 2014 at Mayfair Manor Nursing Home. A native of Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Wayne and Mary Lucile Lee Bush.
She was the secretary for the Chaplain's Office at St. Joseph Hospital and was a member of the Crossing Church where she was active in the intercessory group. She was also active in the Red Hat Society. Her hobbies included sewing, scrapbooking and swing dancing.
Survivors include one son, David (Diane) Acree, Orange, VA; three daughters, Wanda (Victor) Garcia, Austin, TX, Janet (Gary) Bertram, Georgetown, KY and Barbara Davis, Lexington; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth (Mike) Cantrell, Tony (Jennifer) Garcia, Michael (Reema) Garcia, Rebecca (Alex) Spence, all of TX, Paul (Jamie) Bertram, KY, Christy Bertram, CA, Steve (Sue) Mayhall, Jeff (Brandy) Mayhall, both of VA and Jonathan (Catrina) Acree, FL; nineteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday at Milward – Southland, 391 Southland Drive, with burial to follow in the Lexington Cemetery.
