Ruth I. (Buschmann) Viera, 83, of Buzzards Bay, formerly of Plymouth, passed away Monday February 20, at the Royal Cape Cod Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Buzzards Bay. She was the wife of the late Donald J. Viera. Mrs. Viera was born in Frankfurt, Germany in September of 1933 and immigrated to the United States at an early age and became a U.S. citizen. She enjoyed all Indian artifacts and arrow heading. A pioneer, she was an outdoorswoman most of her life and simply adored her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Michelle Bleakley of NH. She was the grandmother of Kimberly and Courtney Bleakley. She was the mother of the late Donald Viera and sister of the late Norbert Buschmann. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend her committal services on Friday February 24, at 10:15 a.m. in Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Bennington Blvd., Bourne.
