Lester Bury
Milford (CNS) - Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Milford for Lester Bury, 45, who was killed at approximately 6:10 p.m., Wednesday in a two-car crash, 12 miles north of Danville on Route 1.
The body is at the Barker Funeral Home where friends may call. Burial will be in Sugar Creek Cemetery with graveside military rites by Forrest Ballard Post, American Legion.
Mr. Bury was born March 9, 1910, in Prairie Green Township, Iroquois County, son of George and Emma Langellier Bury. He married Hattie Hulse Nov. 10, 1930, and she survives.
Also surviving are his parents; a daughter, M, a student nurse at Lake View Hospital; a sister, Mrs. Cora Mae Wood of Milford; and a brother, Richard, of Springfield.
He was preceeded in death by a brother, Lloyd.
Mr. Bury moved to Watseka from Milford 3 1/2 months ago and was employed at the Western Condenser Co.
He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and was chairman of the congregation. He also was past commander of Milford Legion Post.
