Blanche Lee Morgan passed away on March 18, 2005 at Town Hall Estates in Hillsboro. She was the daughter of Redin and Altie Lackey Burt.

Blanche had lived in Hill County all of her life; attending Vaughan schools and Hillsboro High School.

On December 10, 1929 she married Glenn Morgan in Waco, TX. Blanche was a member of First Baptist Church in Hillsboro and taught Sunday School for 25 years and was active in Women’s Missionary Union.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, gardening and making crafts.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Glenn Morgan on March 17, 1995; son, Lowell E. Morgan; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

Survivors include her daughters, Glenna D. Stamps and husband, Stanley of Hillsboro, Virginia Box and husband, Jimmy of Whitney; daughter-in-law, Barbara Morgan of Hillsboro; niece: Gloria Huddleston and husband, Glenn of Whitney; brother: Redin Burt, Jr. and wife, Joyce of Chandler; sister, Madelyn Roden and husband, Eddie of Duncanville; sisters-in-law, Frances Morgan of Hillsboro, Gladys Burt of Denton; 10 grandchildren, Keith Stamps, Mark Stamps, Rhonda Cole, Karen Doskocil, Steven Morgan, Danny Morgan, Barry Box, Gay Campbell, Brock Huddleston and Sheri Woodson;15 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
