Mrs. Burtchaell, daughter of the late Augustus Franklin Smith and Susan Hill Legge Smith, was born September 9, 1917 in Cartersville, GA. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Columbus and a member of the Elaine Hammond Sunday School Class. Mrs. Burtchaell was retired from Ashland Oil where she served faithfully for many years. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Daly Burtchaell; a daughter, Linda Anne Bandy Price; and a grandson, Robbie Price.
Mrs. Burtchaell is survived by one grandson, Ed Price and his wife Marie-Claire Price of Houston, TX; two great-grandsons, Duncan Price and Clark Price, both of Houston, TX; two sisters, Kathleen Burch of Ellijay, GA and Mary Lewis and her husband Bill of Atlanta, GA; one brother, Bob Smith and his wife Elizabeth of Atlanta, GA; other relatives and friends.
