Born in Washington, D.C. on October 7, 1921 to the late Charles F. and Della Blanche Brown, Rosemary graduated from Eastern High School in 1939. She was a secretary with the Interstate Commerce Commission and the Department of Justice in Washington for 28 years and was an avid golf fan.
In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by her husbands, Frantz C. Wilson in 1949 and Lawrence R. Burris in 1966 and a sister, Ruth Erickson.
She is survived by three sons, Leroy G. Wilson of Delmar, DE, Steven C. Wilson and Lawrence R. Burris, both of Edgewater; daughter, Charlene McCabe of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Robert Brown of New Bern, N; nine grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
