Visiting at Miller & Daughter Mortuary, Zachary, noon to 5 p.m. Monday. Religious services at St. John Baptist Church, Alsen, at 8 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Dr. G.R. Clark. Dismissal at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Burial in Southern Memorial Gardens. Survived by two sisters, Ellen Marie Burrell, Baton Rouge, and Hazel B. Robins, Baker; recognized as a sister, Ida Mae Sharper, Gonzales; five brothers, Samuel Burrell Sr., Baker, James, Robert, Neal and Russell Burrell, all of Baton Rouge; a god-children, Ashley Marie Burrell, Baton Rouge; three sisters-in-law, Bobbie Ann Burrell, Baker, Doris and Cherrie Burrell, both of Baton Rouge; a brother-in-law, Willie L. Robins Jr., Baker; a friend, Wallace Gipson, Baton Rouge; two aunts, Dorothy Trask, New Orleans, and BeAnna Hillard, Gonzales; a great-aunt, Elizine Williams, Baton Rouge; a great-uncle, Julius Trask Jr., New Orleans; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Andrew and Ella Bradford Burrell; and a sister, Mary Alice Burrell. He was a member of St. John Baptist Church.
