Carrollton-- Mrs. Lester (Bertha V.) Arbogast, 60, of 1154 Canton Rd. was dead on arrival Thursday morning at Aultman Hospital in Canton after suffering an apparent heart attack in her home. Born at Martins Ferry, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Lottie (Burch) Burns.
Surviving are her husband, whom she married May 25, 1940; three sons and a daughter, John of Springville, New York, Robert and Donald of here and Mrs. Dean (Nancy) Bartholow of Minerva; three sisters, Mrs. Goldie Crawley and Mrs. William (Ruth) Williams of Martins Ferry and Mrs. Julian (Dorothy) Arbogast of here; and 12 grandchildren. A brother is deceased. Services will be held Sunday at 2 in Sweeney-Dodds Funeral Home with Rev. James Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery.
