Newton B. Burns Father was Washington Burns and Frances?
was his mother ,Newton and Selah's daughter Emma Alabama Burns was my great grandmother. Washington Burns settled in the Franklin County area in the 1840's what is now Colbert county as of 1867. Wash is what everyone called him. He disappeared from record after 1860 and unable to place him at the Burns Cemetery.
