OBITUARY

W. H. Burns


W. H. Burns of 3 Mary Street, this city, died at 4:14 a.m. on Sunday, in the General Hospital at Paterson after a long illness.

Deceased was born in Franklin, N.J., and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Burns. The early part of his life was spent in Franklin and New York City. Since 1912, he had been a resident of Port Jervis, where he was engaged in business as an electrical contractor. In June, 1910, he was united in marriage to Miss Agnes Percival, of this city. He was a member of Grace Church, where he had served as vestryman and treasurer.

The surviving relatives are his wife, at home; two sisters, Mrs. H. A. Quackenbush, of Ridgewood, N.J., and Mrs. Edward Stonagack, of Hamburg, N.J., and one brother, Jack Stevens, of East Orange.

The funeral will take place at the house, 3 Mary Street, at two o'clock on Wednesday afternoon and at 2:30 in Grace Church, where the services will be conducted by the Rev. Charles H. Kues. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery. Friends will kindly omit flowers.
