Mrs. J. S. Burks Died of Cancer--Buried at Princeton.
Mrs. J. S. Burkes died at 4:45 o'clock Sunday evening in McKinney from cancer. She had suffered for sixteen years from the disease and recently came here to be treated. Her maiden name was Miss Agnes McLemore, of Culleoka, and she was only married last July to J. S. Burks, who lives on one of Alma Wilson's farms. She was a Christian, a good neighbor, affectionate wife, and daughter. The interment took place at Princeton Monday afternoon.
