Son of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Pancoast Burke who lived at 40 Seminole Ave., Claymont, DE.

Allen served as a Coxswain on the U.S.S. Dickerson in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was "Killed In Action" during the invasion of Okinawa serving as a Pilot of a Landing Craft.
