Eugene Burgin Dies
Here This Morning
Eugene Burgin, long time Milford resident, died about three o'clock this morning at his home in Milford. Mr. Burgin has been in ill health for several years, and has been confined to his bed for many weeks prior to his death. He was 71 years of age his last birthday, March 23, 1945, and was born at Edgewood, Iowa.
Funeral services are tentatively set for Sunday afternoon. They will be conducted by Rev. J. O. Smith in the Methodist church here. Burial will be in the Milford cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Sadie, one son and four daughters, namely, Mrs. A. W. Filinger of Mission, Texas; Mrs. Lawrence B. (Bessie) Hatt of San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. Ralph Dennis of Vancouver, Wash.; Mrs. R. C. Long of Marion, Iowa and Albert Burgin of Marion, Iowa. Mrs. Dennis, Mrs. Long and Ralph (should be Albert) will be here for the funeral services. Mrs. Long has been here for some time, helping care for her father.
Mr. Burgin is also survived by one brother and two sisters.
