SAN ANTONIO - Mrs. Bernadette Burgasser, 50, of Kerrville, passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2002, in a San Antonio hospital. Mrs. Burgasser, a resident of Kerrville for 14 years, was born on March 6, 1951, in Houston, to Stanley Lee Walters and the late Dorothy E. Schraer Walters.
Mrs. Burgasser was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church and was very active in the Girl Scouts. She was a kidney dialysis nurse with Gambro Health Care for six years.
Survivors include her father, Stanley Walters and wife, Winnie, of Kerrville; one daughter, Janet Burgasser of Seguin; two brothers, Steve Walters and wife, Debbie, of San Antonio and John David Walters and wife, Teke, of Fort Worth.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, at Grimes Funeral Chapels with the Rev. Frankie Enloe officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.
