ONEIDA, May 17- Mrs. Martha Loomis, widow of William W. Loomis, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kelly Hyland, near the Bennett school house in Verona township of
Friday, was born in Verona, Feb. 12, 1831, a daughter of the late Henry S. Burdick. She was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church of Churchville, and was highly respected.
She leaves two sons, William W., of Higginsville, and George O. of Cazenovia; four daughters, Mrs. C. L. Suits of Higginsville, Mrs. Hobart L. Graves of Albany, Mrs. William Cagwin of this city and Mrs. Hyland, at whose home she died; one brother, S. Edgar Burdick of Higginsville, and one sister, Mrs. James Edwards of Durhamville. The funeral was held at her late home at 2 o'clock p.m. Sunday and burial was made in Grove Cemetery.
