with the Rev. Chuck Woodard officiating. Burial followed in Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Lanett.
Mr. Burdette is survived by his wife, Clara Lee Burdette of Five Points; two brothers, Roger Burdette of Nashville, Ga., and Dallas Sumner of Waycross, Ga.; and his sister, Loretta Bennett of Hahira, Ga.
Mr. Burdette was a self-employed commercial fisherman.
