Mary B. Anderson went to be with the Lord July 22, 2011. Born August 26, 1932, in Birmingham, AL to Russell and Mamie Burden. She married her best friend and soul-mate, Malcolm 'Mac' Anderson, September 29, 1951 in Pell City, Alabama. A true love story to all who witnessed their love. Mary enjoyed traveling the world and spending time with family and friends in her Carrollton home as well as at her lake house. Surviving along with her husband, Mac, brother Russell Burden Jr., 2 sons and their spouses; Walter & Jan, David & Jeniece; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, and other loving family members. The family will receive friends at Sparkman Funeral Home on Sunday, July 24th beginning at 5:00 pm. A funeral service for Mary will be held at Sparkman Funeral Home on Monday, July 25 at 1:00 pm followed by burial at Restland Memorial Park, Pastor Delbert White officiating. In lieu of flowers please donate to American Cancer Society 1-800-227-2345.
