Little Bettie Jane [sic], the bright 6-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Burch, 7 miles west of the city on the Stanford pike, died last night at the home of malaria fever after a four months illness. Besides the father and mother the little girl leaves five brothers - Clyde, of Washington; Claude, of this city; William Jr., James and Robert all at home, and two sisters, Hazel and Nell at home.
Funeral Friday at 2 o'clock at the home with Rev. Quince Ferguson in charge, and Miss Grettel Easton, of Brownstown, will sing. Burial will be in Clear Creek cemetery. The pall bearers will be Miss Mary and Lloyd Hudson, Miss Elizabeth Crane and Miss Louise Parks, and the flower girls, Ruth Kirby, Luella Binkley, Wilma Fowler and Mary Pugh.
