REVILLO — Mrs. Muriel Bunting, 89, Owasso, Okla., and formerly of rural Revillo, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, in a retirement home at Owasso.
Funeral services will be held at a later time.
The Emanuel-Patterson Funeral Home in Milbank is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born May 15, 1918, in Grant County, the daughter of Arthur and Ruth (Schmidt) Oehler. She lived in Grant County with her family and attended rural schools. She attended high school in Ortonville, Minn., and obtained a teaching certificate from Northern Normal School in Aberdeen. She taught in rural schools in Minnesota from 1936 to 1941.
She married Richard H. Bunting June 7, 1941, in Milbank. The couple farmed near Revillo until 1963. She was a bookkeeper until her retirement in 1980. Her husband died Sept. 8, 1990. She continued to live in Milbank until moving to Greeley, Colo. She later moved to Owasso, where she lived with her daughter Marjorie until entering the Evergreen Retirement Home.
She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Owasso.
Survivors include one daughter, Marjorie Bunting of Owasso; two sons, Stephen Bunting of Moscow, Idaho and Richard Bunting, of Norwalk, Calif.; four grandchildren; one stepgrandson; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jeannette Ceser of Sun City, Ariz.
