She was a graduate of the University of Montana and member of Idlewild Presbyterian Church.
She leaves her daughters Sarah Louise Buntin Brandon (Denby) of Memphis, Helen Elizabeth Buntin Krone (Roger) of Annapolis, MD, six grandchildren Elizabeth, William, and Mary Brandon, David, Lauren, and Michael Krone.
