Mrs. Ella L. Bunn, age 76, of Griffin, passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at Brightmoor Nursing Center.
Mrs. Bunn was born Aug. 5, 1932, in Pike County, to the late Bob Lee Fogarty and the late Dallie Mae Smith Fogarty. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Jefferson Bunn Sr.; son, Bobby Ray Bunn; daughter, Mary Ann Spriggs; grandsons, Scottie Bunn and Dusty Lee Bunn; and brother, George Howard Conkle.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Shelia Bunn Sr., Leonard and Cynthia Bunn Jr. and James Bunn Sr., all of Griffin, Donald and Jeannie Bunn, of Brooks and Bruce and Debbie Bunn, of Griffin; daughters and son-in-law, Gaynelle Davis, of Millen, Ga., Sue and Andy Moore Jr. and Marie Hayes, all of Griffin; 23 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; sister, Lillie Mae Higgner, of Thomaston; special friends, Gladys Bunn, of Forsyth, Eunice (Tootie) Goins, of Griffin and Boots; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Lee Bunn will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The Rev. Tom Summers will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, at the funeral home, and other times at the residence of Leonard and Cynthia Bunn, 215 Central Lake Circle.
