Carlos R. Buker, 75, passed away after a long illness on April 2, 2003 at the Trinity Hospital in Carrollton, Texas. He was born in Albion, Maine on March 2, 1928 the son of William and Lois Buker.
He was veteran serving in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. On July 5 1958, Carlos Married Constance Wentworth Buker. For many years he was employed at Irving Tanning in Hartland until his retirement to Florida.
He was predeceased by his wife Constance W. Buker, a son Maurice A. Wheeler, a sister Mavice King and a brother Vernon Buker.
He is survived by his sister Glennis Smith of Augusta, Me., a brother Herschel Buker of Albion, Me., his sons Billy D. Wheeler and wife Nadine of Hartland, Me., and Steven R. Buker of Umatilla, Florida, His daughters, H. Bonnie Brown and husband Ralph of Palmyra, Me., Bobbi Jo Welsh and husband Scott of The Colony, Texas. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Carlos and Connie will be buried together this summer at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta, Maine. (Brown Funeral Home on-line)
