Anne was born September 24, 1964 and grew up in Weaverville. She was the daughter of the late Glenda Williams Self and Joseph Self.
Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Jeffrey Dean Buckner; daughter, Monica Anne Buckner.
During the last years of Anne’s life she was lovingly cared for by her husband, Jeff along with her lifelong friend, Elizabeth Sue Cheek. The Lord truly blessed Anne and Sue with an unconditional friendship and sisterhood. Together, Jeff and Sue ensured that Anne’s last years of her life were filled with love and laughter. Anne’s husband and family give their greatest gratitude to Sue.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 in the Chapel of West Funeral Home with Rev. Marjory Kiess officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery. (Edited by Jeff Lovelace.)
