Gwendolyn Golden Jackson, 83, of Royal, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday February 10, 2014.

She was born on February 8, 1931 at Alpine to Carrol and Cornelius Bessie (Thompkins) Buck. Gwen retired from Mercy Hospital and was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Ralph Golden and Clayborn Jackson; brother, Rayford Buck; sisters, Leona Jackson, Louise Yancey, Evelyn Hill, Velma Free and one grandson, Adam Goodman.

She is survived by two daughters, Sue Reed (Wayne) of Bigelow, Patsy Goodman (Tony) of Royal ; son, Larry Golden (Carrie) of Hot Springs; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Luther Jackson (Frankie) of Alpine, Douglas Jackson (Marietta) of Jacksonville; step-daughter, Wanda Ward (Gerald) of Alpine; special friend and roommate at Lakewood, Marty Davasher; eight brothers, Clinton, Dwain, Eugene, Lester, Wesley and Lawrence Buck; two sisters, Jewell Dean Hughes and Varie Lee Mitchell.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

Service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Hill officiating.

Burial will follow in Peak Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Scooter Reed, Scott Reed, Jamie Reed, Robbie Reed, Chris Reed, Andrew Goodman, Nick Golden and Evan Fischer.
