Joshua was born January 30, 1987 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He was the son of Tommy and Jeanna Buchanan of Chickasha.  He died Sunday October 2, 2016 in Yukon.

Joshua graduated from Vanoss High School in 2005 and from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma in 2010.

He married Corie Perry and became Dad to Caitlyn Perry on April 27, 2013.

He had worked in the Oilfield.  He enjoyed hiking, camping, rock climbing, playing the drums and he loved to help his neighbors and friends.

Joshua loved to travel and went on many Mission trips and took many adventures.  His travels included Africa, Spain, Italy, Thailand and Hawaii.

Joshua asked Jesus Christ into his heart at the age of eight years old and was baptized in the Arbuckle Lake.

His grandparents James Walter Tate, Edith May Tate and Lewis Buchanan preceded him in death.

Survivors include: His wife, Cori and daughter Catie of the home in Yukon, OK; His parents, Tommy and Jeanna Buchanan of Chickasha, OK; Younger brother, Ethan Buchanan and his wife, Elizabeth, of Cleveland, OK; Grandmother, Faye Buchanan of Verden, OK;
