Prof Baker, of Plainfield Weds
A special from Plainfield to the Waterloo Reporter, dated Jan 5 says:

This community was not a little surprised to learn of the marriage of Prof L S Baker, the principal of our public schools, to Miss Ethel Bryce, his assistant, which occurred Saturday noon at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs Eva Bryce. Rev Parker Smith, uncle of the bride, performed the ceremony which made them man and wife.

Mr Baker has taught in our schools since the beginning of the school year which was last September, and during that time he has made many friends. He has had considerable experience in school work, and has proven himself to be an efficient instructor. Miss Bryce is also a teacher of several years' experience, and was born and raised in this city.
Nashua Reporter, 18 Jan 1906, pg 1

The Baker's moved to Waterloo sometime before 1910, where Scott worked as a draftsman. They left Waterloo for Colorado sometime before 1930 but before 1940. Mrs Baker moved to California after Scott's death, where their son, Jesse Bryce Baker (1908-1971) resided.
