Adel was the only child of Toney Styles and Coratee Colson Styles. Her mother died while she was an infant and she was raised by her Paternal grandparents, Zeke Styles and Cora Rayford Styles. She was educated in the Houston County School System. She was a faithful member of the Sandbed Baptist Church in Kathleen, Georgia. She was retired from the Houston County Board of Education. She enjoyed watching wrestling on television and having good conversations with her friends.
Adel was married to Johnny Bryant on August 11, 1940. She was preceded in death by two sons; Johnny Bryant and James Bryant.
Survivors:
6 Daughters: Lille Mae Simpson(Amos), Corrine Marie Gooley, Annie Allen(Henry), Clara Mae Carpenter, Gail Caldwell(Clarence) and Geraldine Jackson.
3 Sons: Lonnie Bryant Sr, Andrew Bryant(Diania) and Clyde Jackson Jr(Traci).
Her Significant Other: Clyde Jackson Sr.
Numerous Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, August 21,2010 at 1pm in the Sanctuary of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Warner Robins, Georgia with Rev Floyd Clarington officiating.
