Bobbie Jean Bryant died peacefully early Thursday morning, July 30, 2015, surrounded by love and prayers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2015 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with her youngest son, Pastor Mike Allard, officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Bobbie was born February 22, 1929 in Electra, Texas to William Alfred and Mittie Armenda Jones. Her daddy’s trade in the oil field and ship yards took them to Centralia, Illinois; Houston, and then finally back to Wichita Falls. She worked at the Cruse Tire Co., and Williams Dwyer Insurance Agency. On November 24, 1977, she married Gerald Bryant. She served faithfully as a pastor’s wife for many years. She and Gerald pastored in Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas, most recently at the First Pentecostal Church of God in Wichita Falls. Her greatest joy was her family, always praying that they all serve and live for The Lord. Her greatest hope was that they all make heaven their final destination.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Teresa Winter; four brothers, Keetah Jones, William Jones, Woodrow Jones and Jack Jones; three sisters, Oleta Bourg, and Dotchin and Joy White; and two great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Rev. Gerald Bryant of Wichita Falls; two sons, Jim Allard of Wichita Falls, and Michael Allard and wife Danielle of Houston; three daughters, Sandra Smith and husband Rick of Wichita Falls, Jackie Shuck and husband Robert of Fort Worth, and Janet Ward and husband Donald of Sedalia, Missouri; twenty-one grandchildren; and forty-five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
