Obituary of Freda Mae Alsip
Freda Mae Bryant Alsip, age 82, of Corbin, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital in London, KY. She was the widow of the late T.J. Alsip and was the former owner of the Clovertop Bakery.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Bryant and Susie Earls; daughter, Carolyn Sue Faulkner; two brothers, Luther Bryant and Charles Bryant; and three sisters, Pauline Sebastian, Jean Sturgill, and Jessie Collins.

She is survived by one sister, Ann Carroll of Corbin; brother, Wayne Earls of Nicholasville, KY; six children, Layton Owens and wife Janet, Michael Alsip, Brenda Alsip, and Dennis Alsip and wife Judy, all of Corbin, Diane Duncan and husband Jim of Winchester and Dora Arney of Michigan; 24 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

There will be no services. Interment will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery.

On Sunday, August 26, 2012, at 3pm at the home of Brenda Alsip, there will be an open house Celebration of Life.
