James Marion "Jimmy" Bryan Jr. of McDaniel died
unexpectedly Friday, June 19, 2003 at Easton Memorial Hospital. He was 56 years of age.

Born Jan. 19, 1947 in Easton, he was the son of the late James Marion Bryan and Peggy Cummings Bryan Granger. After graduating from St. Michaels High School in 1965, he completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agronomy from Delaware Valley College. With his years of hands-on experience and a proudly earned four-year degree, he returned to the family farm to pursue his love
of farming. Later, Jimmy joined brothers Allen and Bill Bryan in the excavation business now known as Bryan and Sons. Jimmy served as CEO and General Manager of Bryan and Sons and was a Partner in Bryan Group Capital,LLC. His co-owners and partners included brother Bill and nephews Allen Bryan Jr. and Jason Bryan.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Easton Elks, Bay Hundred Ducks Unlimited, and an avid supporter of local youth sports. He will be remembered as a loving father and brother, devoted husband, outstanding businessman, and a true friend to all who knew him.

In addition to his wife of 17 years, Kimberly Jones Bryan, he is survived by four sons, Jamie, Josh, Jake and Caleb Bryan; a daughter, Dawn Coulby Turner and her husband, Ryan; his brothers, Allen Bryan Sr. and his wife, Georgia, Bill Bryan and his wife, Donna, and Kenny Bryan and his wife Jeanne; his
step-father, Skip Granger; a step-sister, Cheryl Granger Murphy and her husband, Mike; one grandson, Rick Coulby Jr.; nephews, Allen Bryan Jr., Jason Bryan, Bobby Bryan, Ronnie Lee Swartz, Logan Jones, Kade Jones, and Nicholas Murphy; nieces, Debbie Bryan, Kimberly Mull, Taylor Bryan, and Sadie Swartz; great-nephews, Robbie Dornton, Trae Bryan and Kasey Mull; and
great-nieces Megan Dornton and Skylar Bryan. He also leaves behind his farm full of animals that he dearly loved.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 25 at 3 p.m. at St. Mark¹s United Methodist Church in Easton, where friends and family may call two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
