---Mrs. Lydia Katherine Brushart, route one, Burlington, died Thursday at 4:45 p. m. in Oaklawn hospital, where she had been a patient for two days. She was 86 years of age.
---The daughter of Jacob and Katherine Morhardt she was born June 24, 1886 in Newton township and lived in this vicinity all her life. her married to Earl Brushart, who died in 1939, occurred on January 4, 1905.
---She was a member of the Lutheran church in Fredonia township.
---Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Katherine Winter of Burlington; two brothers, William Morhardt, Battle Creek and Frank of Newton; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
---Friends may call at the Court funeral home where services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m., with Wesley H. Wingman of Mason officiating. Interment will be in the Lutheran cemetery in Fredonia township.
