Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon from the Pfeffer funeral parlors at 1:30 and at two o'clock from the St. Paul's Lutheran church at Newton, the Rev. Edward Kionka officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state at the funeral home from 10 o'clock Wednesday morning until the time of services.
Born Nov. 14, 1874 in the town of Newton, Mr. Bruns operated a farm there for many years, retiring six years ago. Twenty-four years ago he married Miss Ella Buck who survives. Other survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Henry Vollheim of West Allis, Mrs. Walter Kreie of Manitowoc and Mrs. Henry Waak of Newton, and several nieces and nephews.
