Well Known Woman of Hope Passes Away-Funeral
Services Saturday.
Mrs. Lucy Justina Albright, age 79, widow of Lewelan Albright, died yesterday at her home in Hope, following an illness of several weeks of a complication of ailments. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in the Moravian church at Hope, and burial will be in the Moravian cemetery. The Rev. F.G. Fulmer, pastor of the church, will have charge of the service.
Mrs. Albright was born at the Bruner homestead west of Hope, Oct. 4, 1851, and was a daughter of Charles and Eliza Bruner. In early girlhood she was confirmed as a member of the Hope Moravian church, and remained steadfast and active in that faith throughout her life. She was married to Mr. Albright on Aug. 14, 1878, and to the union two sons were born, Harry L. Albright, who lives at Little Rock, Ark., and Raymond Albright, of this city. Her husband died April 7, 1904.
Surviving relatives, besides the two sons, include two step-daughters, Mrs. Lewis G. Solomon, of Hope, and Mrs. Joe Rodman, of Milford; a step-son, Harve Albright, of Edinburg; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie Anderson of Zionsville, Mrs. Eliza Smith of Trafalgar, and Mrs. Sarah Brinley of Zionsville; two brothers, Bartin Bruner of Hope, and Thomas G. Bruner of Vista, Cal.; two grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Mrs. Albright was a much liked and highly respected woman, and had hosts of friends throughout the county.
