Services were held at Summers Funeral Home, with Rev. Burl Shinkle and Rev. Jerry Cowman officiating. Burial was in Crest Haven Cemetery.
Mrs. Berger was born in Mattoon, IL on May 21, 1901, the daughter of Millard F. and Adda (Ross) Bruner. She married Frank Berger on January 5, 1921 in Noble. Mr. Berger died July 24, 1983.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ for 68 years, the last few years she attended the Free Methodist Church in Olney.
Survivors include one son, Paul Berger and wife Mary, of Olney; one daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Doris) Schwartz of Olney; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sister, Ester Gertsch and Helen Toliver; one brother Noel; and one infant brother.
