Kay Brumley Alred of Tulsa, OK passed away Tuesday February 3, 2015 at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, OK. She was 76.
Kay was born January 30, 1939 in Miami, OK to Dale and Bonnie (Jennison) Brumley. She graduated from Miami High School class of 1956. She had lived in Tulsa since 1965 and was a legal secretary for Williamsβ Companies in Tulsa, OK. Kay was of the Catholic Faith and loved cooking, gardening and loved to travel and vacation time.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Guy Brumley.
Kay married Louis Alred June 11, 1965 in Miami, OK and he survives of the home. Additional survivors include her son Jack Alred and wife Kelly of Portland, OR, her daughter Jill Sykes of Tulsa, OK, a brother Dan Brumley and wife Phyllis of Wyandotte, OK, 3 Sisters Ann Roberts of Miami, OK, Wyn Linthicum of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Dee Turner and husband Richard of Ponca City, OK, 3 grandchildren Lauren Brown, Dillon Sykes and Zachary Alred and wife Erica all of Tulsa, OK.
Celebration of Life Services will be Saturday February 7, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK. Rev. Geoff Buffalo will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. before the service at the funeral home.
