Eleanor (Elinor) "Nellie" was married to John Allen Bruffey Sr. John served in the American Revolution and is buried in the McNeel Cemetery in Hillsboro. After John died, Nellie went to live with her son Patrick. She is buried at the Patrick Bruffey Farm near a large tree with Patrick, his wife Annie (Slaven) and a granddaughter, Rachel Ann Bruffey.
