John Bruce, 67, city employee, who suffered a heart attack, several days ago, died early this morning at the home of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Fannie Price, 4607 Ninth street. He was a native of Chico and lived here all his life.
"Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Sanders of Susanville and Mrs. Fannie Manes of Chico, three grandchildren, Mrs. Irene Matte of Susanville and John and
George Manes of Chico and two great grandchildren, Howard and John White of Susanville; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy William and Mrs. Charles Marion of Chico, and six brothers, William H., Alfred P., Charles C., H.S., R.A., and M.H. Bruce, all of Chico.
"Funeral services will be ...at 2 p.m. at the Bicknell & Moore chapel with burial in the Chico cemetery. Rev. R. S. Eastman of Red Bluff will officiate."
