A.W. Brown, 68, of 7304 Rockcliff Drive, died at his home Thursday after an illness of four years.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mount Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. C.E. Bagwell officiating and burial in Cave Spring Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Monday at Adams Funeral Home.

A native of Cedartown, Ga., he was born Aug. 30, 1916, the son of the late Joseph and Lora Dye Brown. He was a disabled veteran of World War II and a member of the Jouett Henry Chapter #8 of the Disabled American Veterans in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Reynolds Brown; a brother, Felton Brown, Elyria, Ohio; two sisters, Edna Dobbins, Pittsburgh, Pa., and Evell McLain. Cedartown. Ga.
