He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He moved from Austell to this area in 1988 and worked for many years for In Store Media Printing Company. He was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Villa Rica.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Deanne Brown (d. 8/15/2002 age 33) and a brother, Laughton Brown.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years, Betty Dennis Brown; two daughters, Lynise Pearson of Villa Rica and Cheryl Price and her husband, Keith, of Carrollton; two grandchildren, Caleb Price and Lindsey Price of Carrollton; three sisters, Gaynell Kendall of Scottdale, GA, Patricia Kirksey of Sylvester, GA and Trudy Slappey of Ochlocknee, GA; a special cousin, Earnestdean Carr of Camilla; and a number of nieces, nephews, great neices and great nephews.
