Elizabeth was the daughter of Jake Fletcher Sr and Minnie Glenn Fletcher. She was educated in the Crisp County School System. She was employed with Hampton Inn in Cordele, Georgia as a Manager of the Housekeeping Department until her health failed. She joined the Mount Zion First African Baptist Church at a young. She later joined Odom Grove Baptist Church in Cordele, Georgia under the leadership of the late Rev Moses Hicks. She continued to served as a member of the Choir under Rev Jeff Wilson.

She was married to Caleb Brown Jr on March 27, 1992. She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Jake Fletcher Jr, maternal grandmother, Fannie Tolbert, maternal grandfather, Lawrence Glenn, paternal grandmother, Beatrice Fletcher, paternal grandfather, John Felton.

2 Step-Sons: Caleb Brown III(Janice) and Charleston Glenn Brown.
4 Sisters: Brenda Greene(Deacon Winfred), Etta Fletcher(James Willingham), Melissa Haugabrook(Deacon Alfred) and Katrisha Williams(Deacon Michael).
1 Brother: Tyrone Fletcher.
2 Sisters-In-Law: Mary Fletcher and Verdell Murphy(Nicholas).
1 Brother-In-Law: Deacon Willie Frank Brown(Elizabeth B.).
8 Aunts: Madgeline Ward, Jimmie Sorrye, Nettie Merriweather, Smitha Anderson, Annie Harvey, Julia Mae Turner and Willie Eva Tolbert.

Services were held Monday, October 17, 2011 at 12PM in the Sanctuary of Odom Grove Baptist Church in Cordele, Georgia.
