On June 22, 2009, Becky "Bucket" Bessey returned to her Heavenly Father and was reunited with her precious love Mike. She resided at 2088 South 1550 West in Woods Cross, Utah at the time of her death.
Becky was born to Ben R. and Louise Brown on September 21, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She married her soul mate Mike Bessey on June 7, 1975 and was the loving mother to four boys and one daughter.
Becky had a large passion for life and lived it to the fullest. She loved traveling, golfing, working in her yard and spending time with family and friends. She adored her dogs Bailey and Bogie. Becky fought a courageous battle with cancer.
Preceded in death by her husband, Mike, father Ben, granddaughter Rori, aunt Ida, and father-in-law Richard. She is survived by her mother Louise Brown, mother-in-law Lola Bartell, brother Mike Brown (Gianna); children Barry, Brandi, Chad (Andrea), Jason (Missy), Ben (Ashli); 16 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and many adopted children, grandchildren, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2009 in the Woods Cross Twelfth Ward Chapel, 1509 West 1500 South. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 North 400 East, and from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the Church prior to the services.
Interment: Bountiful Memorial Park.
