Mrs. Dorothy E. Brown, aged 49, wife of Robert E. Brown, rear 23 Philadelphia Avenue, died Saturday morning at the State Hospital, Harrisburg. She was admitted to the hospital thirteen months ago.

She was born in Frederick County, Maryland the daughter of the late Oliver and Mary (Misner) Patterson.

Surviving are her husband; son, Mark Richardson, Hagerstown; daughter, Dorothy Jane Richardson, Cavetown; sister, Mrs. Robert Bingaman; brother, George Patterson both of Waynesboro both of Waynesboro; brother Charles R. Patterson, Chambersburg Rt. 1; brother Harry L. Patterson, Fairfield Rt. 1; brother Chester Patterson, Waynesboro.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Poe Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Fleming Van Mater. Interment will be made in Green Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday afternoon and evening from 4 until 9 o'clock.
