failing health for ftie last six years. A native of the Rouzerville sectlon, Mr. Brown attended Rouzerville schools and Shipppensburg Normal School. He lived in that neighborhood his entire life except the last three years, when he retired from the merchandising business at Stop 4 and moved to Waynesboro.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dolly Beard Brown, to whom he was married in
1904,and an adopted son, Melvin Brown, at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Ed Shockey, Hooverville, and Mrs. Norman Unger, Philadelphia Avenue, also survive.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the late home, services in charge of Revs. H. M. Stover and C. R. Oellig.
