Frances D. Brooks
Former Boeing employee Frances Desamae Brooks died April 21, 2005, at her home in East Wenatchee. She was 74.
Born Dec. 23, 1930, in Rushill, Mo., she was married to George Weiss from 1950 to 1970 and married Tilman Brooks in 1975 in Seattle.
Mrs. Brooks worked at The Boeing Co. as a professional secretary for 40 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of Professional Secretary International for 25 years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicki Weiss. She is survived by her husband, Tilman Brooks of East Wenatchee; son Tilman Brooks of East Wenatchee; daughters Vanessa Whitcombe of Des Moines and Dana Haney of Snohomish; mother Anna Baker of Blaine; brother Dennis Brown of Birch Bay; sisters Barbara Baker of Birch Bay and Donna McCarter of West Seattle.; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at noon Tuesday at Marlatt Funeral Home in Kent. Burial will be at Tahoma National Cemetery in Maple Valley.

Her maiden was Brown, previously married to Mr. Weiss, her and Tilman m: 23 Nov 1975 in King Co, WA.
