Joseph Warren Brown, 85, a native of Carroll County, died Monday, March 7, 2011, at the Bedford Healthcare Center in Bedford, Ky.
Graveside services are at the English Cemetery Wednesday, March 9, at 11 a.m. Arrangements are being handled by Graham-Dunn Funeral Home in Carrollton
Survivors include his wife, Hilda Meadows, two sons, Terry Lee (Pat) Brown (Pat) of New Castle, Dana Joe Brown of Bedford; one daughter, Vickie Karen (Robert) Gathier of Bedford;. Three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Joseph Warren Brown, age 85 and a native of Carroll County, passed away Monday, March 7th, at the Bedford Healthcare Center in Bedford. Born May 19, 1925, he was the son of the late Walter and Cordia Sutter Brown.
Joseph was a Veteran having served his country in the United States Army and was also an apprentice Seaman with the United States Navy. Joseph later became an owner/operator in the trucking business and also enjoyed fishing, westerns, and NASCAR races. He married his wife Hilda Meadows, on April 22, 1949, she survives. He is also survived by two sons: Terry Lee Brown (Pat) of New Castle, Dana Joe Brown of Bedford; one daughter: Vickie Karen Gathier (Robert) of Bedford; and one brother, Eslie E. Brown (Lucille) of New Mexico. Three grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.
Arrangements are being handled by Graham-Dunn Funeral Home in Carrollton. Graveside services will be held at the English Cemetery Wednesday, March 9th, at 11am. Memorial Contributions are suggested to the English Christian Church.
