Nancy Brown died in Xenia, on 7 May 1930, aged 97. A brief obituary was published for her, which gives a DOB of 29 January – unfortunately, there's a typo that makes the year 1893 instead of 1833. The obituary mentions that her husband preceded her in death, but does not give his name. It mentions a son, Rufus (of Dayton, Ohio), and a daughter, Mrs. Elma Keifer (of Joliet, Illinois). In the 1880 Census Hugh & Nancy Brown had a son named Charles Rufus, a daughter named Emma M., and another daughter named Elva Alice. The other children are Mary A., Frank W., and Ivy E.(information given from the Greene County Library, by J. Hill)
