Carolyn Mills Brown, 82, died Monday, December 29, 2014 in Abilene.
Graveside service at Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring.

Carolyn was born November 23, 1932 in Big Spring, TX to Naola Dean (Patterson) and William Kenneth Mills. She married Don Brown August 23, 1950. He preceded her in death August 21, 1983. Carolyn graduated from Big Spring High School. She worked as an administration secretary for the Big Spring State School and for Cosden Refinery for many years. Carolyn loved drawing, painting and working in her yard, but most of all she loved her family.

Survivors include sons, Larry Brown and wife Debbie of Merkel, Kenneth Brown of Oklahoma City, OK; five grandchildren, Staci Daniel and husband Jeremy of Denton, Rusty Brown and wife Kaeli of Victoria, Tiffany Johnson and husband Joe of Minneapolis, MN, Ashley Quinones and husband Joey of Frisco, Sarah Good and husband Greg of Richardson; brother, Charles Mills and wife Lynda of Ruston, LA; and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Marilyn; and granddaughter, Lori.
