Marie Brown of Brighton, a homemaker, died Saturday. She was 87. Mass was said Wednesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.

She was born Oct. 20, 1913, in Cass Lake, Minn.

On Oct. 5, 1935, she married Ben Brown in Denver. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. Her interests included crochet, embroidery, fishing and camping.

She is survived by two sons, Leroy, Brighton, and Ben, Thornton; three daughters, Martina Williams, Fort Collins, Annetta Brinkley, Valley Springs, Ark., and Norma Scott, Clinton, Ark.; two brothers, John, Commerce City, and Bernard, Dodge City, Kan.; six sisters, Agnes Rohr, Hayes, Kan., Frances Weaver, Arvada, Vera Allen, El Dorado Springs, Mo., Barbara Brungart, Westminster, Anna Von Feldt, Westminster, and Theresa Wallert, Brighton; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
